Sterilization is a method of birth control for women who planning on having no more children.  The surgery and be performed in the office or in the hospital.  Heartland Ob/Gyn utilizes sate of the art technology in a minimally invasive, office based approach to sterilization by performing Essure.  If office sterilization is not the right choice for you we offer a hospital-based approach to sterilization as well.

What to expect:  Since Essure has no incisions there is a quick recover time and most women return to work the same day or next and experience only minor cramping.
